What is CBD?

CBD is a molecule found in hemp flower, it has a relaxing effect and can have a pain-relieving effect when it comes to muscle or joint pain for example. Many countries and states consider CBD to have medicinal effects. In California, for example, CBD is prescribed by a doctor if you have pain or stress. However, this is not the case in Europe.

What is legal cannabis?

Legal cannabis also called “CBD” is a variety of cannabis plant with very low THC level (-0.2%) which is not enough to have a psychotropic effect but this dry herb has a higher content of CBD which has a soothing and pain-relieving effect.

How to consume CBD?

CBD is found in the hemp flower which can be smoked, vaporized with a vaporizer (...) or transformed to make tea, oil, creams, etc ... For several years, we can find CBD in many food and cosmetic products.

What is a vaporizer?

A vaporizer can have several functions, it can either vaporize E-liquid (containing nicotine or CBD), or vaporize dry grass. It usually works with batteries which are often used in the electronic cigarette industry (E-liquid vaporizer).

How does an e-liquid / electronic cigarette vaporizer work?

An E-liquid vaporizer works thanks to a resistance system placed in the tank which will heat the E-liquid and allow you to inhale it. The E-liquid can contain nicotine for people wishing to quit smoking, or contain CBD for people who would like to profit from its benefits or wean from cannabis.

What is E-liquid?

The E-liquid is used in electronic cigarettes (vaporizer), it is composed of:

• Propylene glycol (PG) often used in everyday products as a preservative or in the pharmaceutical industry. It is also used for smoke machines.

• Vegetable glycerin (VG) used in most cosmetic products, in hydro-alcoholic gel, in food products, etc. It is directly extracted from coconut among others.

• Food flavorings, used, as the name suggests, in food products.

• Low rate water as a solvent.

• With or without nicotine, it depends on your need. The doses of nicotine are often decreasing to allow a little by little withdrawal and to offer everyone the opportunity to quit smoking. With or without CBD, it depends on your need. CBD doses are calculated based on your needs.

What is resistance? (E-liquid vaporizer / electronic cigarette)

The resistance is a removable part placed in the E-liquid tank. This part allows to heat the E-liquid to vaporize it. In the resistance, we find the wire in kanthal or steel which is used to heat your E-liquid accumulated in the cotton placed around the metal wire. It must be changed regularly (more or less every 150ml of E-liquid). Its price varies between 5 € and 10 €.

How do we know when to replace the resistor? (E-liquid vaporizer / electronic cigarette)

Often you will be able to feel a burnt taste which means that residue will have formed on the kanthal or steel wire which heats your E-liquid. The cotton around it will also be damaged following the heating of the resistive wire.

How to replace the resistance? (E-liquid vaporizer / electronic cigarette)

It depends on your model, often just unscrew a ring located on the underside of the atomizer / clearomiser, and unscrew or pull on the old one. Then place the new one and screw the ring back on. Once it has been replaced, you must fill your tank with E-liquid and leave it (with your new resistance) in contact without using it for 10 minutes to allow the E-liquid to impregnate the cotton present in your new resistance.

How to maintain your dry herb vaporizer?

To maintain it, simply brush it well after each use. The brush is often supplied with the pack. Then, to clean it more deeply you can use distilled alcohol and clean with a cotton swab the tank that heats your grass. Remember to wait several hours before reusing your vaporizer to allow the alcohol to evaporate.

How to maintain your electronic cigarette? (E-liquid spray)

To clean your electronic cigarette, simply dissociate the tank from the battery, remove the resistor and pass the tank with hot water. The resistance can also be immersed in hot water. It will only take several hours before using it to allow it to dry. For the connectors, use distilled alcohol and use a cotton swab to clean the threads.

What dosage of nicotine to use in your E-liquid?

For the nicotine dosage, it will all depend on the number of cigarettes you are used to smoking (in case you use the electronic cigarette as a means of smoking cessation). The main dosages are 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg.

Without forgetting that your material will also determine which dosage of nicotine you will use, if your model is configured for indirect inhalation (like a cigarette, little vapor) then the recommended dosages are:

• 3mg for smokers with less than 10 cigarettes per day

• 6mg for smokers between 10 and 20 cigarettes per day

• 12mg for smokers of more than 20 cigarettes per day

For direct inhalation devices (like a hookah, lots of steam) then the recommended dosages are:

• 1.5mg (mixture of 0mg and 3mg) for smokers with less than 10 cigarettes per day

• 3mg for smokers between 10 and 20 cigarettes per day

• 6mg for smokers of more than 20 cigarettes per day

• 12mg is not recommended for this type of use because it is too high. However, some use it without problem, this will be up to you.

What dosage of CBD to use in your E-liquid?

For the CBD assay, it will all depend on the reasons you want to use it and, the material, used. If you are using indirect inhalation equipment (such as a cigarette, little vapor) then the recommended dosages are:

• 100mg and 300mg for regular use throughout the day to feel the soothing but not tiring effects of CBD

• 500mg and 1000mg for occasional use (only in the evening for a few minutes for example) to feel the relaxing effects and help fight insomnia. This dosage is also recommended for people who use CBD in order to relieve certain muscle or joint pain.

The use of direct inhalation equipment is not recommended to consume CBD because it may damage the CBD molecules present in your E-liquid by overheating them.

What is the best way to consume CBD?

All of this will depend on whether you smoke or not. Nowadays, CBD is found in hemp flower, where it is most naturally present. It is advisable to use the flower in a dry herb vaporizer (for example, the Vapomix available on the site) because the vaporizer uses a suitable power to vaporize a maximum of CBD particles without damaging it in the event of overheating. If you do not want to use the flower but you still want to consume the CBD by vaporizing it or if you are already an electronic cigarette user, you will find the different CBD E-liquids (on the site), available in different dosages.

However, if you do not smoke and you are not an electronic cigarette user, you just need to use CBD oils (also available on the site). They are presented in glass bottles with a dropper pipette (between 5 and 10 drops to be ingested per use).

What are CBD oils?

CBD oils are dietary supplements, available in several strengths. Its use simply requires ingesting a certain number of drops. The effect will be general and will provide a feeling of calm. Depending on the dosage you use, these can help you fight insomnia, stress, body aches, muscle and joint pain in general. What dosage of CBD to use in its oil?

As for the dosage it will all depend on the reasons why you want to use CBD. If you just want to use CBD for the purpose of soothing effects (or throughout the day, for example), it is recommended to use a dosage between 100mg and 500mg.

If you want to use it more occasionally (in the evening for example) then we recommend using higher dosages like 1000mg or 2000mg which are stronger and therefore naturally more tiring.
